LIBRARY POSITION

Library Assistant

Main Library and Midway Branch

Part-time • $13 per hour

Around 15 hours per week

This position requires an energetic and flexible person who enjoys working with the public in an efficient and friendly manner with an appreciation for detail and accuracy. Duties include checking materials in and out of the Library using a computer and shelving materials using the Dewey Decimal System. Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs. Evening and weekend hours are required.

Educational requirements: minimum of high school diploma, some college preferred.
